Property Selling Process

It is the sellers Solicitors responsibility to prepare a contract which will eventually transfer ownership of the property to the buyer.

There are numerous points that need to be addressed in the preparation of the contractual package :

  • The actual boundaries to the property
  • Are there any planning restrictions
  • The price the property is to sell for
  • What fixtures and fittings are going to be included
  • What services are connected to the property
  • Are there any legal rights & restrictions which can infringe on the use of the property

Upon completion of the draft contract it is then sent for the buyers approval and once all is agreed, the final signing of the legally binding contract is overseen by a Solicitor.

Once contracts have been exchanged, we as your Solicitors, will to ensure that ownership is transferred over to the buyer.
